Its history dates back to the 16th century when an ancient underground oil mill, which gave the place its name, brought life to a small rural community. Centuries later, this tradition-rich enclave has been reborn as a farm surrounded by olive trees, the result of meticulous restoration initiated in the 1980s by Giuseppe D’Alba and his family, transforming an old stable.
