The Pousada de A Lanzada is located on the isthmus of the O Grove peninsula, offering spectacular views over Playa da Lanzada, considered by some to be the most beautiful in Galicia. It is a paradisiacal 4-star establishment with 23 rooms (all adapted). The Pousada has direct access to the beach through an underground passage that crosses the road. The two-story building is constructed with granite ashlar and has a long history in the Salnés region. Since 1927, this building housed the Sanatorio Gil Casares for tuberculosis patients, as the place was highly valued for its climate and waters. Subsequently, the building served as a school for the deaf and mute, and in recent decades it has functioned as an occupational training center for hospitality by the Diputación de Pontevedra. Now, the Pousada de A Lanzada reopens its doors completely renovated and adapted to its new destination as a luxury establishment. It features garden areas, a spacious breakfast room, and uncovered parking.
